Focus Media Presented at Merrill Lynch Media & Entertainment Conference

 

Focus Media Holding Limited (Nasdaq: FMCN), the operator of the largest out-of-home advertising network in China using audiovisual television displays, presented at the Merrill Lynch Media & Entertainment Conference which was held during September 13-15, 2005 at Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel, Pasadena, California. Chief Executive Officer, Jason Jiang was invited to give a speach on the topic of the development trend of the new media industry in China.

CEOs from many famous media companies including the biggest outdoor media company in the world -- Clear Channel, Disney, Times Warner, EMI presented at this annual summit of the global media industry, and Mr. Jiang was the only representative of China among them.

In his 45-minute-speach, Mr, Jiang introduced the development of the media industry in China as well as Focus Media's segmentation principle and its business development, which arose great concern and was well recognized by the audiences.
