VeriSilicon, the new portfolio company of UCI, was shown on Red Herring Top 100 Asia lists recently. Red Herring, headquartered in Belmont, California, is a famous media company specialized in IT industry.

After evaluating entries from more than 500 private companies from 17 countries including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Singapore, Japan and Korea, the Red Herring editorial team has chosen the winners for the Red Herring 100 award program. Strict criteria were used in the selection process, including innovation, business model, management, financing, partners, key clients and etc.

In the past 15 years, Red Herring has been paying great attention to the global technology market and making in-depth reporting of those entrepreneurs who are exploring in the filed of hi-tech business. Every year Red Herring editors select the top 100 companies from them. This is the first time that Red Herring makes this kind of list in Asia for picking out the100 most prospective private companies in Asia and presenting them to a diverse and global audiences.

Red Herring Asia will take place on September 5-7, 2005s in Shanghai, China and the Red Herring 100 Winners will be presented and give speeches at the conference.
